Inspired by my friend and fellow computational biology sufferer James, I've set up a space to make some of my fixes and hacks for producing graphics in python (using matplotlib) and R publicly available. Please make free use of the code here, bearing in mind that most of the fixes were made for a particular version of the software and may not work in subsequent versions, or may be superseded by actual features. In general I will try to indicate the version of the software the code was written for, as well as any sources. I would, of course, appreciate it if you would do likewise if you find a use for anything here.
