“Please, sir, can I have a whole soul?” said the little boy.
“A SOUL?” said the transdimensional being. “What’s that?” it added in a transdimensional whisper.
“I’m not sure,” said the little boy. “I think it’s the little squishy part that goes OW when your monkeys try to beat me to death.”
“My monkeys never beat anyone to death,” said the transdimensional being. “What’s death?” it added. It was a little dumb, to be honest. Or maybe just vastly inexperienced.
“I’ll show you death,” said the little boy, and he died.
The transdimensional being went and told all of its friends about death, and they all gave it the old college try, and that’s why there aren’t any more transdimensional beings in the world any more. pity.
