4. internal references. there may be a certain continuity to digestion, along with the birth canal. whether this is true or not, human tendency is to try to maintain the illusion: my life in bed is, in fact, somewhat related to my former life in Boston. if it becomes necessary for me to have lived in New York or Buenos Aires, please do your homework and find me someone new.
