Yes, I know this thing has been deader than Teddy Roosevelt for the last 3 months. But big things are in the works. Eventually this whole website will run off a common framework as a java servlet. i would have preferred to move everything to cocoon but I’m not in the mood for that big slow pile of code yet. but there will be rss, and a blog-style interface, and who knows what.

I leave for London in one week. I’ve had that ticket for a while. Today I bought the next leg, which is a flight from London to Paris, where I meet Ilona. She claims that she will only speak German to me. This is great, but my foreign language centers are currently running Portuguese.

So from August 6th on I’ll be driving all around with her, and trying to keep my verbs at the ends of my dependent clauses. Eventually I need to take the train and ferry to Greece, but that will probably be closer to the end of August.
